Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael -- Jewish National Fund, KKL-JNF is the largest green organization in Israel. Since its establishment in 1901, KKL-JNF, with the help of its friends in Israel and around the world, has planted 240 million trees; established parks, recreation sites and lookout points for the benefit of the public, as well as accessible sites and bike paths. KKL JNF has built 225 water reservoirs and prepared land for settlement and agricultural development. In addition it participates with international organizations, sharing its environmental expertise for the benefit of mankind. KKL-JNF also invests in the education of the next generation and the strengthening of the bond between Israel and Jewish communities worldwide.
