Download contents from reddit when you have Internet, and read them when you don't.

Everything in this app was designed with offline in mind. Being able to use this app when there's no Internet is the top priority when making any design decisions. It currently pre-downloads text posts, images (including gifs and imgur albums), and all comments, for offline use. You can also schedule the app to download at specified times.

This app does NOT have ads, and it will NEVER have ads. The limited screen-size on handhold devices are too valuable to display ads.

This is a beta version, with lots of new features coming. Please visit /r/RedditOffline for discussions and feature requests.

Permissions explained:
INTERNET: for syncing with reddit.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: to check whether you have Internet connection.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: save the cache files.
SET_ALARM: scheduled sync, so you can have it to download reddit every morning.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: so that scheduled sync feature can survive a phone reboot.

Recently changed in this version

Added permalink and a share link of each post, to open up the possibility of opening reddit in the browser, another reddit app, share to others, or save it for viewing later.

Added better zoom support for viewing pictures.

Fixed an issue where "[scores hidden]" would incorrectly show as "1 pt".

Other minor UI additions and fixes.

Although the UI looks kinda clunky and not very beautiful, it is one of my favorite apps (especially during boring lessons).

Have not seen an update in a billion years. Edit: okay fine, Updates happen maybe once in half a billion years. This app still deserves five stars since I use it so often. I just know it has so much potential and I want to see it get better. Maybe you could make it open source? (I'm not sure if that would help the development speed)

This and google news (offline) will keep me busy on a long flight with no net access. Clean, functional and does what it says on the tin.

I want to be able to log in, or import my many subreddits. The app looks great, but I can't use it until this is implemented. I don't have the time to import 40 subreddits manually.
