    "Fight your FOX stars"

After causing a freak accident, five cartoon universes are thrown together. You’ll first choose your character from either Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad!, King of the Hill, and Bob’s Burgers. Then, you’ll take turns dragging and dropping your cards on the screen. Each card has its own attack and HP. Unlike other CCGs, you can combine and upgrade your cards. The ultimate goal is to take down your opponent’s health. Once you go through the tutorial, you can play against AI, collect cards, take on other players, and become the true cartoony CCG champ.

Animation Throwdown features a good soundtrack, different game modes to master the game, a solid selection of humorous cards and combinations, an active community of players to challenge, and aids newer CCG players with the core mechanics, making for a fun to play in short bursts.

You’ll have to bear with things that hamper the game’s longevity, namely graphical lag, energy timers that limits long-term gameplay, an overall lack of fluid card animations, and overly challenging and unbalanced gameplay, making the game feel like a grind. My recommendation? Play in short bursts, or look for another CCG.
