TerraTower is a mixed reality game that was developed at UC Irvine. Players use a client on their Android device to play the game, by interacting with the physical world and uploading commands to the game server. The game server is a separate project hosted on github and must be running for the game to work. The goal of the game is to capture as much territory as possible by running across the playing area and building towers and dropping bombs. Towers slowly claim the territory around them and bombs destroy towers. Additionally, players may find codes in the world that they can redeem for power ups with the game engine.
