Goodreads Droid is a fully featured Android client for the social book network Goodreads
If other social network like Twitter have clients, why Goodreads.com wouldn't have them? That's what Hactar Software developers thought and, the outcome, is "Goodreads Droid".
Goodreads Droid is set in a good-looking layout that tries to make more accessible that fantastic social network. From home you can access your shelves, see your added friends as well as their shelves, check out updates on your timeline, manage groups and search for books (also by scanning them with a built-in barcode scanner).
There's also a simple 4x1 screen widget that highlights timeline updates. We're missing though other widget sizes.
In a few words, Goodreads Droid thanks to its user-friendly interface, makes easy checking and manage your goodreads account. Highly recommendable.
You can browse your bookshelves, get updates from friends, search for new books, or find book reviews!
Use the built-in barcode scanner to quickly add books to your shelves!

Would like to be able to follow the series hyperlink beside the title of books like on the main goodreads website. This feature would definitely set this app apart from the stock goodreads app listed by the website.
Love it. Much snapier and sleeker than Googlereads app
Nice format for the tablet
Great interface to a great site
I want to love this app. I think the design is very neat, but this app doesn't seem to have many of the options that the official app has. I can't view my own profile. It can be a bit cumbersome to try to navigate to friends' profile, and I'm not sure why
I am still experimenting with the Goodreads tablet app; however I am sure it will live up to the Goodreads we know and love. If it doesn't; I will be sure to ammend this review.
A great app that got me reading!
