Border Markers

Between the Netherlands and Germany are thousands of landmarks, which mark the frontier. It is the task of Kadaster, the Dutch Land Registry Office, to inspect these border markers and, where necessary, to recover.

This app offers for everyone the possibility to find the border markers and to report the status of a boundary stone at the land registry (Kadaster). This can be a contribution to the topicality of the inspections during walks along the border.

The border between the Netherlands and Germany is shown on the map. After zooming in, the border markers are shown. Click a marker to view information about a border marker. The information consists of details and possibly a photo.

Use observation to inform the Land Registry about the status of the border marker. Based on the observations it is determined whether a border marker needs to be restored, and when it will occur. Enter your email address with an observation. The email address is only used to uniquely identify an observation and to keep you informed of developments around the border markers.
