Get reminders of your Facebook friends' birthdays while managing your Google Calendar

Everyone's affected by the war between Google and Facebook. It actually implicates apps: some of them don't include Facebook feature if they're already using Google or Twitter API. Most of users would love a better integration between platforms since they are users of both. Calendar Pro-Birthday reminder works in that direction. It's a comprehensive Google Calendar manager that integrates your Facebook friends' birthdays into your calendars.

First time you launch the app, you'll be prompted to sync your Google and Facebook accounts with the app. Once done, all your friends B-day will be added to your calendar, and you'll be able to perform basic Google Calendar actions. Thus, you might crate notes and embed photos, set to-dos and events, share notes and reminders, schedule using colors, link a contact to an event etc. It even allows users to check out horoscope and weather forecast. Bear in mind that your data will always be safely storage in the cloud.

The app is set in a Google-style layout: neat, minimalist and really easy to use. Navigation and "jumps" between calendars is really intuitive. You're just a few taps away from performing anything you need to properly manage your schedule.

This is a free version with ads. You can upgrade to a paid version that includes some additional features: Unrestricted backup, more elegant themes. and no promotions.

This app is a waste of time and is not user friendly. There is no opportunity to copy an event to another dates or a range of dates. There is no opportunity to back it up or synchronise it with Google. Furthermore the full screen calendar is accompanied by the agenda, memo, to do, weather and other irrelevant rubbish. It is supposed to be a diary, ie a productivity tooI and not an all-in-one.
