For those pesky potholes, damaged street signs, and other local problems that get you down, the DC311 app makes reporting a problem easier than ever. This Android phone, and tablet compatible, app uses GPS to recognize your location and gives you a menu of common quality-of-life conditions to select from. The app allows you to upload pictures to accompany your request. The mobile app can also be used for a variety of other issues such as graffiti, street maintenance, street light issues, damaged trees, parking meters, and bulk collection. Residents can track the status of reports they or other members of the community have submitted.

Easy to use. How can I change my displayed name or choose to report anonymously?

To be more useful, this app needs a dedicated parking meter button that helps record and track when a meter malfunctions. Also, pressing Downtown and DC map yields a blank page. Keep improving this app!

No info on how to use. Even if you call. Time waster. Awful.

This app used to be horrendous to use. It would randomly freeze, unexpectedly fail while sending a report, and take 5 taps to do even simple reports. Its still the same tired design, but at least it does the job. The SeeClickFix app does the same thing with a better user experience
