An app to scan and upload quickly.
Droid Scan does, as its name implies, scans of all kind of documents, business card and whatever you want to scan before saving it or uploading it. Beyond sharing it via Gmail, there's an option to integrate the image with OCR files by Google Goggles and Evernote. If you're an HP printer owner, the iPrint sharing will also interest you.
Image processing is really fast and its main strength is its edge and border detection. There are a couple of editing options- brightness and contrast - and a menu to choose between JPG and PDF, though PDF save is only available in the paid version)
In conclusion, a nice app. If you're messing around all day long with business cards all little but important documents, this app will make your life easier.

** Please note: If you use the capture feature on a tablet without a rear facing camera, Droid Scan may open the front facing camera, but this is not the intended method for using the app on a tablet. Droid Scan on tablets is intended for users who use another device to capture images, and cloud storage (for example, Picasa, Box OneCloud, Dropbox) to access the images on the tablet.

- New "Add a scan" item in the scan gallery.
- Layout tweaks for small devices.
- Document shape details are now displayed only in the scan info dialog.
- Minor bug fixes.
Although the edge detection and color correction are pretty great, the UX is absolutely terrible. Too many options right in your face and a file manager that breaks all possible conventions, reminiscent of some obscure Windows XP programs.
I was able to do what I wanted. :)
Every time i capture and try to scan a photo it automatically becomes darker
Not all the time (not sure why . . ?) but sometimes when i scan a document (cld b a size issue) it lets me set all the settings, but then the app stops after i prompt it to finalize the scan. This is annoying. Other docs it works alright with. But if it doesn't like one doc, it keeps on stopping from finalizing. Is it a size issue? & if so, can u fix it, or do i have to downsize the doc before sca
Takes a poor quality photo and then it turned into a mess. Wouldn't crop properly. Primitive
