ItacaMap Viewer Demo

ItacaMap Viewer Demo is a free application created to demonstrate performance and features of the ItacaMap for Android, a programming framework that enables Java developers to build rich and high performance GIS and mapping applications for Android smartphones and tablets.
ItacaMap for Android is composed by a client written in Java and a server based on the TatukGIS DK.

This application has the following functionalities:
* Choice among 5 different scenarios.
* Rendering of leading vector and raster formats supported by the TatukGIS DK.
* Overlay of vector or raster layers with Google Maps™ with customizable level of transparency.
* Rendering of satellite and road maps.
* Zoom, Pan.
* Selection of shapes by rectangle and point.
* Grid visualization of vector data.
* Legend.
* Use of main layout functions (selections, labels, graphs, colors, etc.)
* Thematic maps.
* Built-in data gateway.
* Support for main RDBMS.
* Customization with Eclipse, NetBeans and all IDEs that support Java and the Android SDK.

Coming soon:
* Editing of attributes and geometries for vector layers.
* GPS tracking.
* Topological operations.

ItacaMap is basically composed of a custom WMS/WFS server (OGC WMS 1.1.1 compliant) and a number of client libraries and application for different platforms (e.g.: Android, Silverlight, HTML5, Windows 8, etc.).
