MobileLot 2.5 (Depreciating)

This version is being depreciated on 4/20/13. As of 3/20/13, there are two new versions in the Play Store that should be used. One is for Android Honeycomb and above and the other for Gingerbread and below.

MobileLot allows WalkTheLot.com WebLot account holders, normally window sticker company's, to use their Android devices to process cars recently added to their used car dealer clients lots.

Collect vehicle data, take photos, print window stickers & buyers guides, and publish automotive data to WalkTheLot WebLot for dealer use, Internet inventory listing, and for publishing to 3rd party classified sites.

Use the built-in VIN bar code scanner to scan the VIN.

Decode the VIN with the optional additionally priced ($40/mo.) VIN decoder/exploder.

Either manually type the stock #, or if there is a barcode of the stock # available, use the bar code scanner.

Select most vehicle data with easy-tap pickers.

Single tap to select auto equipment items from any of 4 categories; Decoded standard equipment, decoded optional equipment, imported equipment, or from a general equipment list that you may customize. There is also a time saving "check-all" menu item to check all decoded standard equipment.

Import vehicles from a dealers WebLot account.

Print inventory added reports for field tech tracking or for giving to the dealer with your invoice.

If your dealers use promotional text for their used cars, a quick tap lets you select from text entries they already have within their account, or you can type a new one.

Select warranties with a tap for printing buyers guides.

Easily take up to 50 photos per vehicle with the built-in Android camera, or our free "WebLot Photo Match" utility for Windows and an external digital camera for even better vehicle photo quality.

When you're done processing a vehicle, you may either publish it right then, therefore making it instantly available online, or batch upload all or unpublished vehicles at a later time.

You may also use MobileLot to take and upload "photos only" if you do not want or need to collect vehicle data. When only photos are uploaded, if the vehicle already exists in WebLot, the photos will be added automatically. If the vehicle does not exist, the photos will be stored for 24 hours and may be added to the vehicle by clicking a single "Add MobileLot Uploaded Photos" link when editing the vehicle in the web-based WebLot backend.

Once a vehicle is published, with a tap mobileLot gives you a list of the window stickers and buyers guides configured in the dealers WalkTheLot.com account. Stickers are easy to configure with our cutting edge web-based designer and even support printing QR Codes. Tap the sticker(s) of choice, and mobileLot downloads the PDF to your device and prompts you to open it with your favorite helper application for viewing or printing. The helper application that we suggest is "PrinterShare".

10/2011: DOES NOT WORK WITH Motorola Droid 3 due to known camera and FC issues with that device. Motorola must release a fix. Try taking photos and testing on in-store device to insure Motorola fixed prior to relying on this device. The new Samsung 4G phone is having issues cutting off half of the stickers.

The minimum screen width we suggest is 480.
