The City of Houston’s myHoustonWater mobile app provides 500,000 Houston Texas residential, commercial, and industrial customers with tools:
• Review and pay their water/sewer/drainage utility bills
• Make and track self- service requests
• View month/daily/hourly water consumption
• Set daily/monthly/leak water consumption threshold alerts
• Chat with a live customer service representative
The Consumption Alert feature offer customers the ability to set a daily and monthly consumption threshold – an amount you choose that represents normal water use for your account. If your daily consumption exceeds the daily threshold on any given day or your monthly trend projects to exceed your monthly threshold, an automated alert will be sent via your notification preference (i.e., app, text, email, or phone call). The consumption alert feature also includes a leak notification option that is based on the register of a continuous flow of water over an extended period of time.
