Most of us use Microsoft's PowerPoint to work presentations and while we've seen Android apps that can help us manage such presentations, we had yet to stumble across an app that would also allow us to create, open, edit and display a PP presentation. Now it's possible with Office: Presentations.
Basically, the app lets you open, edit, and save your PowerPoint files while preserving all formatting and content. It displays your presentations exactly like they look on your PC, even including sound, animations, and slide transitions.
After the start of the app you will find yourself on the landing screen, which looks like an empty slide. A function bar with the main features is located below and it includes the main features of the app: Keyboard (to access keyboard and edit texts), File (to create, open and save presentations, as well as export them as PDFs), Edit (copy/cut text, search for text or select slides) Format, Slide (to switch between various slides or start up new slides) Zoom and Play. All of these functions have sub-features which will pop up when you click them
All text fields can be edited, and animations were added via computer can be viewed without a problem. Moreover is specially interesting there's an integrated cloud feature and a PDF export function.
The free 30-day trial version is a limited taste of this powerfull app, but it works to see if the tool is useful for you. No doubt this is a nice and compact PowerPoint 's mobile version that has a few options on board that will help make creating/editing/showing presentations that much easier.

Usage tips: You can access the most important commands through the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. You get access to all commands by pressing the Menu key (in Android 4.x: by tapping on the Menu button on the screen).

There are so many apps out there that don't do this right, weather be a simple gradient background, or an inserted graphic. It's still not perfect but it's a lot better than other office suite apps out there.

A big thank you for including sound. The only thing required now is hyperlinks to other files.

Like the app so far, the one thing I don't like is the lag, it may be my complex slide show with a lot of graphics, but just wish there was a way to fix the lag. The pinch and zoom could also be a but smoother. I like the fact that it kept my formatting

Dear SoftMaker. Please please please, could you make it so if you press on the right side of the page , it moves to the next page, but if you press on the left, it moves to the previous page. Would make this so much more usable. I know you can do this wit

As an astronomers I need to make powerpoint with lots of animation. This is the only application available that allows me to prepare my lectures without a pc. Great.
