akRDC is a Remote Desktop Control software compatible with the RFB protocol (VNC Client) and tested on servers: TightVNC, UltraVNC, RealVNC (without encryption), Ubuntu Remote Desktop (servers ready with the RFB protocol...)

How to use: install a VNC server (TightVNC recommended) on your PC (or use the native Linux remote desktop server), then create a new 'site' and connect to the server.

Recently changed in this version:
2013 May 12th:
- Security: it is now possible to enter the password while connecting. Simply let the password empty from the
site's configuration, you will be prompted in the connection phase.
- The server failure message is now displayed when the authentication fails
- Changed the keyboard toggle show/hide method because it seems that the previous one was not working on every Android versions.
- added/improved some files transfer icons
- decreased the fading size on the remote view tool-bar

Awesome app, the best VNC client I've used on Android so far. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for a few things. Firstly, the fade at the borders. It looks beautiful, but it kind of gets in the way when using on a phone. An option to disable would be use

Only VNC app I've found that works with UltraVNC's security. It would be great if it had multi touch zooming, but even without that it's still worth 5 stars!

Does not allow enough zooming to read remote desktop. I also prefer pinch to zoom. Also important, the program remembers passwords by default which is a big security risk.

Just an update to what i noticed or complained earlier on...i also observed that the keyboard that refuses to function is my ICS keyboard which i downloaded from play store (i prefer these keyboard to the samsung keyboard personally) but if i do switch ba
