"Not without my bookmarks"

ChromeMarks allows you to sync your desktop Chrome bookmarks to your Android

If you're a dedicated Chrome browser user and you cannot live without your bookmarks, why don't bring them everywhere? ChromeMarks is an app that sync your desktop Chrome bookmarks to your Android device. No need to repeat the process manually. Just check out that you're signed in your Android device with the same gmail account of your desktop browser. Then launch the app: it will automatically sync bookmarks. That easy.

From settings you can choose the account to sync, set back button behaviour, change theme and many other. Some advanced settings are only available in the paid version. Actually the Lite version is read only. If you want to copy your bookmars into your stock browser you'll have to upgrade.

We would say that layout could be improved, however, it doesn't really matter in this kind of apps. What matters is if it does what it says, and that's the case. Recommendable.

Developer's original description available here
APRIL 2013: This app is no longer being maintained.

Google have begun disabling sync access from any apps that are not explicitly created by Google.

If you are getting "error 500" messages, you could try and put the app back to using the Android Account for authentication and you might get some more syncs out of it. But if Google have *explicitly* disabled api access from any app that doesn't have "Google" in the name, then I don't think it will take long before all other methods used by CMarks are similarly detected and rejected.

Please don't ask me if there are other ways to keep syncing - if there were, you'd be using it now.

Thanks for all the support over the last two and a half years - it's been fun!

Just installed - It works great on Motorola Droid X2 from Verizon. Chrome browser is not compatible but I can use all my 4329 bookmarks in 262 folders with the Android Browser, Firefox or Opera Mini. It sync'd beautifully and I will consider upgrading. Cmarks Lite can be sideloaded to Kindle Fire using ES File Explorer to first backup the app from an Android phone, upload the .apk file to a lap

Been using Chrome's sync feature to keep my bookmarks updated from machine to machine as I transition away from iGoogle. This app brings my bookmarks to my smartphone! Nice work!
