Seriously, you have to see this ssh app:

Works flawlessly with raspberry pi. but no up/down arrows and typing on a phone is not optimal but i think most of it is not the developers fault so overall 4.5 stars

Latest version no longer connects to Windows machines running Bitvise ssh. Once that's fixed, it's a 5 star app.

I use it to connect to my Raspberry PI and it works flawlessly

GSSAPI/Kerberos support and an equivalent to ProxyCommand would be useful additions.

This app works like a champ. I've been using it on all my android phones. I use it for some shell stuff but mostly use it to tunnel/port forward other apps access into my home network over the internet. I can poke my home router, tunnel webcam feeds, and I even once used it to tunnel network control of my Samsung TVs to mess with my in-laws. >:-D

The latest version can not connect to Mikrotik. Can I somehow remove the latest update or can we expect a fix soon ?

Easy to connect to ssh

It simply works perfectly. A must have in your mobile toolkit. No joke, it being April 1st and all... :)

Always on the list to install on a new device. Works with SSH keys, can even make new ones when needed. Would be nice if it supported MOSH connections but apart from that, solid app.

ConnectBot has been a staple for me since I first started using Android. It allowed me to use SSH in ways not possible on iOS or Windows Phone. The new UI design is excellent. I can not say enough about how great this app is. However, the new update has also messed up the back-end some. Connections are real shaky, to the point where I cannot connect to a windows box running Bitvise's SSH Server at

Worked great till the latest update, now it won't connect to some sshds but will connect to others. I am not the only person suffering from this bug. Apparently older versions of android with the issue are "no longer supported" - that's great and all, don't show it in the market if it isn't supported. Now I can't connect to my VPS and can't get the old (working) version back. E: auth.log says
