Contacts (formerly contapps) is and alternative full phonebook and dialer for your Android
It doesn't matter if you don't like the built-in Android contacts-app, if you're bored of it or both. "Contacts" is an alternative phonebook which, from our point of view, overtakes the default Android phonebook, regarding looking and usability.
First off, you can choose between list view or grid view for contacts. Way more interesting the "Grid view", of course, although that's a matter of taste. You can import Facebook pictures to your contacts. Once done, you new and cute phonebook. A grid view (if you chose it) which size can be easily change by pinching. For making a call just press & hold a contact. Swipe left to to call log and right to inbox messages. That easy. There's a bottom bar to launch dialer: it's a pop-up, so you remain in the contacts grid. From the bottom bar you can also apply filters to select groups or sort by abc, frequently or recent calls. Of course, you can still search by name.
The contacts file has been re-designed completely (and enhanced, I'd say). You can see and add phones, text, e-mail addresses, chat and other info. There's a cute bottom bar from where you can add social networks profiles of the contact (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, Foursquare). What's more, there a social feed of the contact. The curious feature: a Google tab from that googles your contact name.
You can mark contact as favorites, create groups and search by gestures. It includes contacts widgets, birthday reminders, it merges duplicate contacts.... What else you want? I admit that phonebook app is one of the few features I don't like to change and since I tried this Contapps it becomes my official one. Highly recommendable.

How do I edit the contact in it
I wish there were a way to show group icons with how many contacts are contained within. I'd like to easily send sms and/or emails to everyone in a group, without having to filter them out first.
Very good App and beautifully designed.
I've had a few issues with this app so far but I do really like it and your customer support has been excellent so far, so I'll keep my rating at 4 stars for now. The way that it handles joining contacts and linking services is a bit buggy. I wish it would import any missing information from the contact I'm joining and not keep the information from both. It should simply merge the info from both c
Great app, too bad Facebook killed the sync
Excellent app. Tried other apps before and gave up. This one is very intuitive.
