This resource and the Let’s Sign BSL sign graphics it contains have been created on behalf of the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) for the Me2 project: Deaf-friendly swimming (see HYPERLINK "http://www.ndcs.org.uk/me2"www.ndcs.org.uk/me2).
Extra signs relevant to this topic (with detailed descriptions) have been added to support the communication needs for those who prefer to be able to refer to a mobile applications for the signs. It also contains a background introduction with information designed to encourage families and those working with children who are deaf or who have additional needs, to get involved.
Many more children and young people with special educational and additional speech and language needs also use BSL signs to support their communication and this application is designed to include all who sign.
