"Dolphin in HD"

Reviewed by / Jun 17, 2011

Browse through your favorites websites using Dolphin

This browser is minimalist and elegant. When you install it, it asks you where do you want the gesture settings and it gives you the possibility of showing a pinch-zoom button.

The design is pretty and it's also easy to use. Its most appealing feature is Gesture, where you can draw a gesture that directly links to a default action or a website that you previously chose.

Usual tools such as Themes, Bookmarks, Download, Add-ons and Browsing History are also included. If you wish not to save the latter you can always choose Private Browsing.

Dolphin Browser™ HD was developed by Dolphin Browser, who also provides the normal and the mini version. Check it out if you're looking for a smooth and clean browser.

At one time I really liked this browser and for a long time. But now it's no longer 'fast' and recent user comments are quite discouraging. I'm going back to Chrome (maybe Firefox) and will augment with another browser called Puffin.

I like how it looks now, but I would rather have the old tab and add on system.

I would be OK with the new interface if there was a way to remove the bottom bar that's wasting precious screen space. I should be able to bring it up with the menu button on my Galaxy S4 like before.
