EasyTether Lite allows you to use your smartphone connection to navigate on your computer

This version has been enhanced and includes no usage restriction.

You just need to enable 3G/4G/WiFi connection on your smartphone and connect it to your computer via USB. Then, you have to choose the OS running on your computer to avoid incompatibilities and start surfing the web (Windows 7/Vista/XP-64 bit/XP-32 bit., Mac OS 10.4-10.7, Ubuntu, Fedora supported). It doesn't need either root access either advanced configuration. It's for all audiences. However, it allows you to set DNS in case you have to.

The main flaw of this app is that the developer blocks HTTPS, Instant messengers and game console thethering on the Lite version. The only way to unblock these features is upgrading to the full version ($9.99). And it has to be said that it's far from being cheap. Given that there are other Tethering apps that doesn't block it (and which are free), it has no sense.

We wish, Mobile Stream, the developer of this app will re-think this way of making money with his app. Besides that, the app works great.

Works awesome. Not a single glitch. When I'm roaming I still can get on the Internet with my computer through my phone using this app. & surprisingly speeds are pretty descent. Best money I've spent on an app. If you don't have this app your missing out if no internet or WIFI connections are available. Must have app for tethering. Used the free ones & they don't work.

motorola millenium phone and a nexus 7, they were detecting each other but couldn't get internet access on the tablet with bluetooth or cable tether. Couldn't get it to work. Free version worked before upgrading to kitkat on tablet.
