EasyTether Lite allows you to use your smartphone connection to navigate on your computer
This version has been enhanced and includes no usage restriction.
You just need to enable 3G/4G/WiFi connection on your smartphone and connect it to your computer via USB. Then, you have to choose the OS running on your computer to avoid incompatibilities and start surfing the web (Windows 7/Vista/XP-64 bit/XP-32 bit., Mac OS 10.4-10.7, Ubuntu, Fedora supported). It doesn't need either root access either advanced configuration. It's for all audiences. However, it allows you to set DNS in case you have to.
The main flaw of this app is that the developer blocks HTTPS, Instant messengers and game console thethering on the Lite version. The only way to unblock these features is upgrading to the full version ($9.99). And it has to be said that it's far from being cheap. Given that there are other Tethering apps that doesn't block it (and which are free), it has no sense.
We wish, Mobile Stream, the developer of this app will re-think this way of making money with his app. Besides that, the app works great.

Its a good app
Works like it says Easy=tether!!¡¡
Works as expected and is insanely easy.
Tried quite a few tether apps on this phone with little to no luck until I found this one. Install is a breeze and using the program is really easy. I was up and on the internet in no time. I am even able to play some Battlefield 4 online using this app.
A great substitute for wifi when the electricity is out. Motorola Droid Max on Verizon and any laptop computer. Still can't get the Bluetooth tethering to work for my Nexus 7 tablet, but that's not a problem when you really need to get emergency email out
