There are dozens (hundreds?) of Twitter client for Android, some of them truly enhance users experience. However, widgets are rarely their added-value feature. Falcon's developers decided not to compete head on with other Twitter clients and they presented their app as a "widget", a mere complement for other Twitter clients. We're pretty sure though, that most users will use it as their main access point to their Twitter timeline.
You'll notice that Falcon isn't in your app drawer: add it to your homescreen as a widget. By default, the widget fills one full screen. However, it's fully resizable. Falcon displays your timeline on a highly-customizable widget.
You can set 4 different layouts themes, including transparent and translucent. Likewise, you can choose displaying timeline in grid or list (usual way). From the widget you can access your favorite Twitter client, switch between timeline/mentions streams, compose tweets and manually update timeline. Anyway, Falcon's updates automatically timeline (you can set refresh rate at your whim). An unread tweets counter is on the top bar, if you tap it, you'll skip all of them and redirect to the latest.
Finally you can customize notifications, date format and usage of the browser. It comes with a built-in browser that previews links on the widget. However, you can choose browser preference when opening links.
In a few words, Falcon for Twitter is a appwidget Twitter client that has unlocked the door stealthily but which is meant to make some noise on that market.
