+ By Sufficiently Secure

OpenKeychain helps you communicate more privately and securely. It uses high-quality modern encryption to ensure that your messages can be read only by the people you send them to, others can send you messages that only you can read, and these messages can be digitally signed so the people getting them are sure who sent them. OpenKeychain is based on the well established OpenPGP standard (also referred to as PGP, GPG, or GnuPG) making encryption compatible across your devices and operating systems.

Modern encryption is based on digital “keys”. OpenKeychain stores and manages your keys, and those of the people you communicate with, on your Android. It also helps you find others’ keys online, and interchange keys by touching devices. But its most frequent use is in using those keys to encrypt and decrypt messages.

OpenKeychain integrates with
• K-9 Mail
• Conversations
• and many more…

OpenKeychain is designed to be trustworthy. It’s Free Software with no secrets; anyone can examine and validate every bit of it.

• Full network access: To query keyservers
• Near Field Communication: To exchange keys via NFC; Yubikey NEO support
• Storage: To import/export keys from sd card
• Identity/Contact: To pre-fill name, email, and search queries; integration with Android's contacts
• Camera: To scan QR Codes for adding keys

Because OpenKeychain is Free Software, anyone can validate that the permissions are indeed only required for the listed features.

Awesome application. Force closes when binding a yubikey in 3.2.2 though. 4k Rd master key, separate 2k rsa signing and encryption keys.

Instead of retaining the original name like previous behaviour, it now seems to rename files numerically in consecutive order when encrypting multiple files, which has totally broken my use case, which was encrypting my photos and videos before uploading them to online backup storage.

I didn't even know that PGP works over NFC in Yubikey Neo. A must have!

I remember one i tried to use apg but was really annoying. This one is awesome and works almost perfect! ! I found a few bugs, will see if they are fixed in this latest update. Still, it's perfectly usable, must have! !

Love the new layout, only problem I have is when you encrypt a zip file then decrypt it, it not in a zip file format.
