Opera Mini Web Browser is just what its name says: a web browser for Android devices. A great one.

All our Android have a default browser that works properly, but which could be improved. Precisely that’s what Opera Mini Web Browser does. By compressing pages with Opera’s servers, Opera Mini loads websites faster than the default browser, and we would state, faster than the most of the browsers in the Market. Of course there’s a trick: it reduces the quality of the images shown in the websites. But for those who don’t care that point because appreciate speed over definition, Opera Mini is probably the best option. Moreover, its performance is real efficient regarding resources since it uses about a tenth of the data of normal browsers.

Opera Mini homepage shows a grid of nine frequent-visited websites or those we mark as a favorite. Its browser bar its simple and not intrusive at all (it’s on the bottom). Easy to access bookmarks, favorites, downloads and the settings from the “O” icon in the browser bar. Actually, there’s a great range of configuration options: font size, image quality, show/hide browser bar, status bar... and much more! Maybe the main flaw is that there isn't Flash on Opera.
