Efficiency can't be achieved without tracking and monitoring. This means that you could be overpaying for a call and data plan that don't fits you. PhoneUsage comes up to solve this situation.
It automatically tracks calls, text (SMS) and data usage (the latter can't be done using your history, it starts tracking after installing the app). You can see stats about call/text/data volume, duration, top people called/texted, 3G/WiFi, apps downloaded and many more. You can see that stats per month, week, day, incoming, outcoming, total... and many more.
You can also set usage limits and you'll be alerted when you break them. It even includes screen widgets for calls, text and data... and many other features. One of the plus point of this apps is that it doesn't run in background: it tracks your usage automatically just for a few seconds to update your stats.
If you were looking for a good app to track your phone usage, you got to the right place. Accuracy, ease of use and good-looking layout. Highly recommendable.

I have emailed the app designer with a suggestion a couple of times in the last year and have received no response and the idea wasn't implented. That is their choice and the app is well done. It just stinks that this app appears to have been abandoned.

Soft write i used 90mb, but in reale life 180mb. So it suck. I want money back!

Very useful and reliable! Excellant app to track your mobile usage. Would like to see a separate billing roll over date for each function: calls,data, and sms.

Even with pro key, ads has started appearing again. Useless.

Disappointed that I now have two PhoneUsage Icons after purchasing the app. Please remove it, pretty sure many users will appreciate this.
