Smart Silencer allows you to select contacts that are able to ring through while all other contacts or non-contact numbers go to silent. This includes phone calls, text messages (optional) and emails (optional). In addition, you may now silent all contacts and override your list of selected contacts. Activate for a duration (5 minutes to 12 hours) and Smart Ringer will turn you ringer back on automatically. Never forget to turn your ringer back on again. All silenced call history, text messages and email messages remain intact. Smart Silencer may be turned on and off manually or on a configurable time schedule. The status of Smart Silencer can be viewed on the top of your phone at all times (little bell in notification area). If you are a widget fan, just place the Smart Ringer widget on your home screen and get immediate status. Single click the widget and update your settings, status or ring contacts list. Never touch you phone volume or vibrate setting again.

Recently changed in this version:
Fixed application so that it notices time range schedule if active after boot. This was an update needed for honeycomb and ICS.

Sounds like they are working on multiple timers. But for night it silences phone, email and text from everyone not on my selected list. Thank you. Snd thanks for responding to my email quickly.

I really love this app; it gives me peace of mind that I won't miss an emergency call from my kids late at night when I'm alseep. HOWEVER, I can't stand that to add contacts, you must scroll through them, rather than use a searchbox; the process of adding

I can sleep knowing that any interruption will be worth answering. The app is simple and quick, and the wording is easy to understand. There isn't a better way to spend a dollar.
