SOS is intended to help you in case of emergency situation or in case you get lost.
It gives to you two ways to call for help:
1) Call the phone number in one touch and make a conversation with speaker on.
2) Send a SMS message with precise coordinates of you location to make it easy to find you. The receiver of message can open the map with you location just tapping on link in the message. In cases where the maps are not helpful, the location can be opened by GPS navigation applications or gps radar applications. We have tested it with "Google maps" and "GPS Status" and found them usable for finding the location.
Below we are providing the list of situations where it can be very helpful:
-Family or friends traveling in unfamiliar places and somebody got lost.
-Sports for individuals like cycling, running and walking in case of accident and need for rescue.
-Accidents at work.
-Kids get lost.
-Old people in cases of distress.
When application is started at first time, the user need to setup up to four contacts for fast, one tap dial and to setup the phone number for emergency message. To find the exact location with precision of few meters, GPS need to be enabled. Second, less precise method for finding the location is using network, in this case Internet connection is needed and precision is hundreds of meters.
