If you're an active SMS sender or instant messenger user, there's a way to easy organize your contacts: Text Easy. It allows you to create groups of contacts like if they were circles: family, friends, work,... do it your way. You can also use filters to show only numbers you care about. You can send same message to multiple receivers at once.
The UI is similar to other cross-platform messaging apps like whatsapp: different color text bubbles and contacts list. Despite it's a great app, it could be improved in some regards like multimedia sending and customization. What's more, its success depends on the amount of people using it. Try to convince your friends of using it and you will have cross-platform instant messaging for free. If your friends doesn't have the app, you can send them SMS from the app using the same configuration.

My previous Android device allowed for multi-select text messaging so it was easy as a coach to send practice and game information updates to my players and their parents. When I changed to a 2.3 Android device it did not have the multi-select function fo

This is so terrible just bought it sets up the numbers all wrong and wont allow me to send any messages. This app is infuriating.

Great only if you use gmail online to set up groups. Must set groups to be useful tool. Also the ad free version is faster to load. Great app
