- Fast navigation
- Strips out unwanted visual content (like ads)
- Less data usage
- Needs more options
- Layout could be improved
- We expected it even faster
TextOnly is a browser that only displays readable content from websites
First off, it should to be said that, although this may seem a RSS reader, it's not. Most of people will use it just for reading blogs and articles on online newspaper. However, it overtakes a RSS reader: this is a browsers that doesn't load pictures in order to make reading easier and navigating something much faster.
TextOnly speed up your daily reading of articles early in the morning. Since it doesn't load any type of image, it strips out any intrusive content like ADS, CSS, sidebar or header. What's more, for those worried about data usage, it barely uses a few KB for each page (remember that what the heaviest elements on a website are pictures and gifts).
You can input by URL , RSS or Twitter URL. Tweets, articles and post are listed in a simple scrollable format. You can bookmark websites or articles for an easy access.
The main catch is that you can just "Go" to the URL or "Bookmark". There are no options like "Share", "Full Screen" "Downloads tab", "Data backup" and many other features that other browsers contain. The interface could also be improved. We wish that Spacenext, its developer will add more features as soon as possible.
Regarding navigation... is really fast, although we expected it even faster since it displays just readable content. Anyway, it's a good choice for those who are always reading articles from newspapers or blogs. This is the browser for those who put fast navigation before scenery. In a nutshell: for those who understand faster as more efficient.

Would not even show plain html website text. Get Opera and enable their free proxy if you want to minimize your downloads.

I've heard so much about this app, and the fact that it is good, fast, and shows all text, but guess what, GOOGLE DOES'NT WORK FOR TEXT AT ALL
good app,thanks dev.
I know it's free but.... It pulled a couple of pages but seems to have troubles with frames. I downloaded this for Seo purposes but it seems geared to ad revenue
Fix the back button issue and you will get a 5 star from me. Tip for Nexus 4 users: tapping the app switcher twice will produce the desired result. Otherwise, it's almost as good as HTC's browser which has this reader mode feature built-in.
