Picked up a super cheap ELM327 for $12.84 on Amazon, and it works perfectly. Found a bad O2 sensor. Now I'm off to finding out how to replace that. If I can do that myself, this pays for itself with this one use!

It works as a code scanner. But the performance numbers are waaaayyyy off. After an hour of using, my trans am has 21hp and gets 42mpg and my 0-60 time was 1.4seconds. While that would be nice, wholly inaccurate. A little disappointed, I should've just st

really, this has saved me quite a bit of time (and money). i am able to monitor a ton of sensors in the vehicle (2006 WRX Wagon) such as coolant temp, air intake temp, timing advance, etc... the bad part is that the current version is unreasonably picky

Two main faults I have are on the speedo and fuel consumption. 1. On the speedo there is a "Max Speed" and a "Min speed" Max speed makes total sense. Min speed doesn't If I stop, then its 0. What purpose does that give me? Why don't we have Average spee

After I upgraded to a Samsung Note 3, I noticed that a finger or stylus tap is not sufficient to do anything in Torque. Gotta repeatedly tap/mash your finger on an icon for anything to happen. This is annoying as it precludes anything done while driving

I am a mechanic and I use this every day. We have a diagnostic tool in the shop but this is great for simple code reading and sensor monitoring rather than grabbing the verus or maxidas and running through all those menus.

Will keep it to check & clear trouble codes, but can't trust as a tuning tool. Won't read wheel speed, TPS % is wildly innacurate (idle @ 18%, WOT @ 76%), and buggy on both my phone & tablet. Overall...not impressed.

FULL diagnostics. Not just defining CEL codes. Plenty of themes available to class it up. Works flawlessly. Indispensable tool for weekend mechanics.
