Wi-Fi Talkie is an application for voice chatting, file transferring and messaging within your local Wi-Fi network.

Main features:
— The application doesn’t need the Internet or a cellular network connection.
— The voice communication between any numbers of smartphones.
— File transferring with a speed up to 24 Mbps and above.
— Personal messaging and chatting.
— Turning on Wi-Fi Hotspot to create a local Wi-Fi network with your smartphone.

Note: If you have some problems with voice communication quality:
— Try to turn on “Keep screen on” in the application preferences.
— (For HTC smartphones only) Try to turn on “Best Wi-Fi performance” in the advanced system Wi-Fi settings (Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Wi-Fi settings -> Advanced).

    Tip: if you increase the audio bitrate to 44.1khz, the audio drops out less. It's counterintuitive, but it works for me. I suspect it's because that's the native bitrate of the device.

    I would like to use this while paint balling With Bluetooth headset. but what good is it when i have to use the phones mic. Why can I hear with headset but not talk with it. Please fix

    Great app, can you add support for Avatars? Can you add multi-user voice chat? I think that one of users will be host and before call select users to chat.

    Good app for talking over your home lan WiFI tested well on andriod phones with 2.2 and 2.3 on tablets with speaker the voices sound slow almost sound like frogs.. and deep sound im wondering if its a speed issue or new API as these tablets are ICS 4.04
