WiFi Tether for Root users allows you to turn your Android device into a Wi-Fi hotspot [ROOT]

Wait, are you root? The keep reading. This is an only-root app that enables wifi-tethering. Actually you need to be root and netfilter-enabled kernel ( most of stock-kernel nowadays come with such a kernel).

In a few words, this app turns your Android device into a kind of "WiFi hotspot" by using your Android data connection (4G, 3G, 2G). Imagine you're out there and there's not a WiFi hotspot nearby, you need to check something on your laptop and you need Internet connection.

Just launch the app, press the WiFi icon and start sharing your connection (it brings also a home screen switch). Check in your laptop list of available wireless devices and you'll find your Android device there (you can change SSID). Connect, type the password and start surfing the web. NOTE: laptops or computers connected to your data connection can slightly increase your data consumption.

As root user you'll be able to set some parameters: access-control feature to allow/deny clients to use your mobile data connection, change WiFi encryption (128-bit WEP or WPA/WPA2 on supported devices). Likewise you can check your log, change frequency channel, enable/disable automatic shutdown, change LAN... and many more.

Simple layout and very good performance. Tested on Samsung Galaxy S Custom ROM 4.0.4 and it worked perfectly.

The app runs on my AT&T Galaxy S3 rooted, but doesn't broadcast a signal that I can see with any other device like laptop or other cell phone. Permissions granted for root, app says its running (in the log) but no signal being transmitted.
