XDA-Developers is the official app of the well-known mobile software development community

Premium version is ad-free and includes some extra features: collapse top bar to maximize screen real state, access to Legacy forums, add forums shortcuts, custom XDA color scheme, where to post on a given thread and bug fixes.

Over 4 millions users made up this community founded in 2003 which purpose is discussion, troubleshooting and development of mobile OS software. In other words, this is the place where settled mobile apps developers, newbies and indie cooks meet up. The place where you can solve your doubts, post your apps, download ROMs and put your two cents in the biggest community of mobile software developers.

XDA-Developers official app is set in a user-friendly layout. Simplicity: a top bar with four basic tabs (Latest, Forums, Favorites and PM). You can access latest post and check them by unread, all or the ones you've participated. Likewise, you can search the forum by category or by name. There you can access main topics. You can mark some posts as favorites in order to access them faster. From "PM" tab you can access your private messages inbox and sent messages box as well as compose and send PMs.

Finally, you can check and modify your profile, check out who's online (members and guests) and read news from XDA-News. The app is fully customizable regarding layout and notifications.

In a nutshell, the app you must install if you want to be in the forefront of mobile software development.

The premium XDA app is ad-free and has additional features versus the free XDA app.

Please note: XDA Premium works best over WiFi or high speed cellular data. The first load might take the longest even if you're on WiFi.

    It does what it says, but it's very flaky about it. Lots of force close, empty subscriptions until I reload, threads not loading/showing up blank, etc. But when it works, it's great.

    It still force closes after a few minutes of use. Gonna uninstall and just use tapatalk. Sucks that I paid for the premium

    It's good but needs more updates to run smoother sometimes it still force closes and takes a while to connect to servers. Still a great app for anyone who's involved in the mod scene. Keep up the great work!

    What else can I say? Quick convenient way to stay up-to-date with what's going on XDA land and background fc bug seems fixed
