XDA-Developers is the official app of the well-known mobile software development community

Premium version is ad-free and includes some extra features: collapse top bar to maximize screen real state, access to Legacy forums, add forums shortcuts, custom XDA color scheme, where to post on a given thread and bug fixes.

Over 4 millions users made up this community founded in 2003 which purpose is discussion, troubleshooting and development of mobile OS software. In other words, this is the place where settled mobile apps developers, newbies and indie cooks meet up. The place where you can solve your doubts, post your apps, download ROMs and put your two cents in the biggest community of mobile software developers.

XDA-Developers official app is set in a user-friendly layout. Simplicity: a top bar with four basic tabs (Latest, Forums, Favorites and PM). You can access latest post and check them by unread, all or the ones you've participated. Likewise, you can search the forum by category or by name. There you can access main topics. You can mark some posts as favorites in order to access them faster. From "PM" tab you can access your private messages inbox and sent messages box as well as compose and send PMs.

Finally, you can check and modify your profile, check out who's online (members and guests) and read news from XDA-News. The app is fully customizable regarding layout and notifications.

In a nutshell, the app you must install if you want to be in the forefront of mobile software development.

    This app is driving me up the wall. Great idea but regularly freezes my phone. Totally! Makes no difference which rom or kernel I'm on and I'm certainly not the only one. Please please look into this problem.

    It's year 2013 and I still can't save to ext sdcard. I have a 32gb microsd and I want to utilize it to the max. This app just don't get it. I have to resort to workarounds which is lame. I feel like this app is on 1.0 while everybody's blazing on 5.0. Des
