In the third "tip" about how to add any two numbers there is an error. In fairness it's most likely a tiny loss of concentration and the method is still quite sound.

I have just started playing. lTrick #1, step 3 & trick #3, step 3 have the wrong numbers written as answers. I thought I was losing my mind.
