The University was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and the President of HBMeU, as the first online institution to be licensed and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the United Arab Emirates and among the few in the region.
