The Electrical Safety Checklist app was designed by the Electrical Safety Council, a UK charity that’s dedicated to keeping people safe by reducing the risk of electrical accidents. There are approximately 70 deaths, 350,000 serious injuries and 21,000 fires caused by electrical accidents every year in UK homes, and this app will help you reduce the risk of accidents in your own property by showing you a simple checklist of potential dangers to look out for in every room of the house. The app will also save any items you’ve flagged for attention for the next time you want to use it, and advise you on measures to make your home safer – including when to call a registered electrician.
