    You'll learn and be able practice how to read and write the katakana characters with this app. Would be awesome to use on devices with soft touch pens like in Galaxy Note

    When ya get somethin wrong it repeats."It assumes"Well not really try the writing lesson and then write the characters in a notebook five times.I love.I completly know Hiragana... now next is Katakana.

    Not only does this app do a good job of teaching the kana, it also teaches stroke order which is something my Japanese teacher hasn't focused much on. My only complaint is the lack of a mute option.

    Would be better if the writing exercise allowed you to finish drawing the character and then click submit. As it is an accidental tap of the screen results in an incorrect answer
