    The photos/pictures help a lot for the ease of learning the words. You get enjoyment looking at those pictures while you learn and remember the lists of new words. If there are other similarly designed apps teaching comprehension of German articles, news, reviews, books and so on, that will greatly speed up the progress of learning German.     The app constantly challenges me with new words without being too easy or boring. The progress reports are a great motivational tool. Mistakes are repeated to reinforce memory.

    Would appreciate some revision time between levels to go through what I got wrong, especially since the audio doesn't cover the word genders. That said, great vocabulary building tool with bonus native speaker clips, which Duolingo sorely lacks.

    No articles, and you can't delete words since you put them in study session
