Matrix Eigenvalues is a mathematical app, which calculates
the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a given matrix.
The following matrices are available:
nxn matrices (more than 5 rows and columns)
An eigenvector of a square matrix A is a non-zero vector v that, when multiplied by the matrix yields the original vector multiplied by a single number.
The number is called the eigenvalue.
Eigenvalues and eigenvectors have many applications in both pure and applied mathematics. They are used in matrix factorization, in quantum mechanics, and in many other areas.
