I updated from version 2.31 to version 2.42 and this app no longer loads images of the sun or data for the moon. Nexus 7 (2013) running Android 4.4.4.

Version 2.43 still won't load images for the sun. The app also won't restart without a reboot if you exit Mobile Observatory after having attempted to access sun imagery. The same behaviour occurs on two tablets in my household. Both are Nexus 7, 2013 models, one is running Android 5.0.1, the other is still on Android 4.4.4. As far as I know, this bug first appeared in version 2.41 of Mobile Obser

MO is a full-featured astronomy app at a fraction of the cost of some other ones available. If you're searching for a solid astro-app and reading this there is no reason to move on. Just get it. MO has a small enough file footprint to reside on the paltry 16GB internal storage of my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 but would be nice if it supported SD card install.

Does way more than I expected. My go to program. Somewhat complex interface, not really for a beginner.

This is a great app for anyone that wants to know what they're looking at when they look up at night. Got this app for my daughter for use in conjunction with her telescope. Nothing beats having up to the minute star charts on hand while observing the night sky.

I've just started using it so I haven't found all the capabilities but it has vast information available. I used to need several apps to get all this. And it is presented in accessible fashion. Bravo!

Best astronomy app, I normally use red shift on my laptop, this is as good. You will find that all the information is there, it will keep you up too date and fire your interest in astronomy.

I recently bought the app, and I have to say I am extremely impressed. I haven't noticed the bugs that people have been saying about the moon etc, and it wouldn't bother me. I haven't used all the functions yet, but it is very accurate and has helped me a lot! Thanks!

It has everything I need, and more. The frequent updates to include new comets are particularly handy

This is a truly wonderful app, with lovely graphics and phenomenal functionality and available resources. Would have given it 5 stars, but My Favourites List won't store more than one favourite at a time, which renders it virtually useless. Every time you add a favourite using the star symbol as instructed, previous favourites are deleted.
