Notecards are one of the best way to study since they highlight content previously summarized in a few bullet points. Notecards are actually, the last part of the study since they don't require sitting down and swotting up but remembering highlighted points on-the-go (bus, cafe, walking to class, etc.). Thus, notecards are mobile by definition so, what if we could bring them in our most-mobile gadget? My Flashcards makes it possible.
You can add as many decks as you want and set them a name or category such as algebra exam, speech class, XX Century Literature or whatever you want. Likewise, you can add notecards at you whim: using text, using images from gallery or using text an image. That's a good option if you want to scan directly notes taken in class.
Swipe to go to next notecard or tap the left/right arrow button. You can set many viewing options: show all cards once, unmarked once, card by weight, etc. In fact, you can set individual flashcard weights which is really helpful to set studying priorities.
One of the most useful features is the timer and the score for self testing. In other words, you can test yourself remembering the ideas highlighted in the notecards and set the score and the time it takes you to finish them.
In a nutshell, My FlashCards is a highly helpful app if you are a student, a lecturer or a speaker. It allows you to bring always with you fully editable notecards without messing with real decks. The only catch of the app: design is too sober. A richer design would make the app way more attractive and, in fact more usable.
