"E-reader for kids"

Reviewed by / Nov 07, 2012

Let your kids read their favorite books in your device

TouchyBooks is a children application that wants to encourage them to read and let them discover the magic world of books. This app was created to provide entertainment to the kids while they're at home, on a trip or whenever they feel like it.

TouchyBooks is presented in five languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian) so they can start getting familiar with an extra language. The application consists of a book store where you can purchase e-books (some are already available, some others aren't) and install them in your device. Then, you can read them as e-books.
It has page selection, reader number count and the possibility of inserting evaluations. You can access directly to your collection of downloaded books, the top ones and even search for your favorites.
The design is colorful and clean and even though the app has some bug problems (it sometimes force closes) we like the idea and we think it's a really great idea to introduce children to the habit of reading. It's perfect because they are using technology (which they love) at the same time they're exercising their creativity.

My daughter loves "reading" her books and when the app works its wonderful..however it constantly crashes and always tears are shed. My daughter gets so frustrated that she can't read her favorite books. Please fix this thank you!
