Version 2 Google Play App Trial Link

This is the Demo Version of the original Random Student app released in 2011. It has all the features except that the number of students per list is limited to 5 students in one class instead of the 99 per class in 20 classes for the paid version.

The user can then click on the dice button to select a student from the list randomly.

-Mark student absents so their names are not called
-Keep track of number of times that student is called on
-Device speaks name of student out aloud.

I have found that students enjoy this feature in my classroom and participation is more equitable and students really do participate more. Perhaps users will find another setting where this app may be useful

Additionally, students can be marked absent or present. If absent, their names will not be called randomly. The number of times each student has been selected is also kept track.

This is a fantastic app, in terms of functionality. It is exactly the kind of thing I would pay for. Unfortunately, it just doesn't look the part. The settings screen is especially poor. What is the Gmail text entry box for? The icons don't accurately reflect their functions, so one has to click on them and then read a toast (!) to find out what an option does. Again, this is a great app, with v
