The app drills are carefully arranged such that progress can be made systematically and in no time. Each drill is designed to have a mini-game feel and will target a specific set of reading skills combining elements of eye motion, vision span and visual perception.
The app will help you get rid of bad reading habits like regression (re-reading words) and sub-vocalization (silent vocal processing while reading). At the same time, you will develop several speed reading techniques that you probably didn't realize your brain is capable of learning. These include: scanning words in jump steps that are optimal for reading, block reading (recognizing multiple word without moving your eyes) and post-visual reading (recognizing words after your eyes sweeps past them).
The average person reads about 250 words per minute. With proper speed reading training, you can boost this figure up to a whopping 500 words per minute! That's twice the number of books you can read per year or half the time to learn what you need out of a news article. Early users of Speed Reading Coach have reported an immediate improvement in their reading speed upon completion of the first few drills.
Speed Reading Coach has a clean UI and has been designed from the grounds up to make your speed reading practice an absolute entertainment. More drills and reading material will be added in newer versions of the app.
We would love to hear your thoughts on Speed Reading Coach and implement any suggestions that can improve your training and speed reading experience.
