    This app celebrates the Independence of India. From the initial protests, to the struggles from failures to the victories we give you a glimpse of all that happened in our struggle for Independence

    With great freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh and Jawaharlal Nehru the Indian freedom struggle is an interesting story to tell. This is an attempt to look at this story using videos and images.

    India had a long freedom movement with many making sacrifices to get us independence, this app celebrates the major events that took place leading to our independence and remembers those who made these sacrifices. Starting from the first war of independence in 1857 to 15th August 1947, when India marked its independence with Prime Minister Nehru hoisting the tricolour Indian Flag on Red Fort and delivered the now historic Tryst with Destiny speech.

    This app talks about the symbols of our nation with national anthem Jana Gana Man, to our national song Vande Mataram to the National Flag, our Tricolor. It highlights the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, the sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, the actions of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose amongst others and gives us a chance to live through those time and be inspired to create a better India.
