IMPORTANT ** This application is designed for use on screens of 9.7 inches or more. **
Reading is the most important tool we have to acquire knowledge. And as such, the earlier a child learns how to use this tool, the more readily they will acquire it. A baby is able to learn to read from 18 months, even before they learn how to talk.
BASED ON A SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN AND PUBLISHED METHOD that has helped thousands of babies around the world to learn how to read at an early age.
This application will allow your baby to become familiar with words, teaching them how to link the written word with what they see. It also contains elements that relate to their daily lives. This is not an application to teach the alphabet. Learning a single letter is an important conceptual effort. How can I explain to someone who can not read that a drawing that represents an 'A'? What is an 'A'?
NO PICTURES to distract the baby from what's important: the words.
This is not about making your baby a genius, it is about learning to use the most important tool that humanity has to transmit knowledge: the written word.
Once your baby can read, you can read stories together and strengthen and improve their reading and learning skills.
This application comprises 7 stages. In the first 4 stages, there are up to 5 words per lesson, which randomly appear for up to 5 seconds per word. This is very important to keep the baby's interest as it is proven that if the words stay for longer on the screen, the baby will get bored and lose interest. When words are always presented in the same order it makes the baby learn a pattern. They wouldn’t actually be reading because they would know what the next word was before it was even shown. The last stages consist of a very simple story, which works with sentences.
