TED is the official Android app of the well-known global set of conferences

TED official website is mostly about videos of the conferences of the TED annual event celebrated in Long Beach, California (formerly in Monterrey). From there you can watch some of the ideas which claim to change the World in different areas as education, business, design, music, humanitarianism and many other relevant topics. If you want to keep updated of the state of this topics, TED is the event where companies and specialists unveils every year the trends.

TED for Android is the official app that try to dump all the website content and make it easy accessible from your mobile device. You can find more than 1200 TEDTalk videos and audios and more are added every week. The app is supported by both tablets and smartphones.

Developers has taken care of the design, and the outcome is the proof. Clear and good-looking layout in a user-friendly interface. Users just need to navigate through tabs (featured, all talks and my talks), select "New" or "Popular (filters) and scroll down the videos. If tapping one you get access to the Talk sheet: briefing of the talk, video and related-videos. That's it.

You can share it, add to watch it later or even download the talk to your SDcard (choosing before high or low quality video). Quality and loading speed is excellent. No complaints, a well-developed Android app. High recommendable.
