Let your kids learn the time and weather while having fun interacting with the app

Weather and Clock for Kids is a cute application for children and families which presents an interactive scene for the everyday use. Your kid will be able to tap on the screen and be told the current temperature, the weather forecast and the current time and day by a very funny voice.

The interface is highly intuitive, they just need to navigate through the screen by clicking on the moving images and discover new features like changing the location in order to find out what the weather and time is like in other countries. The radio also hides funny songs for your children to listen and there are other tasks to do, like opening the window, lighting the fire and watching the mouse wear different outfits.

Kidoteca is the developer of this educational app, the perfect aid for them to learn the days of the week and start to tell the hour. A learning app which is also fun and enjoyable to interact with. Smooth graphics and a great design, really recommended.

It requires an Internet connection and location services.

Developer's original description available here
Kids now have their own weather and clock app!

A funny speaking mouse tells to children in real time:
-current temperature
-weather forecast for the next 7 days
-the time
-the day of the week

With a very intuitive interface, kids have access to all this information, even if they cannot read. They can also switch to another place in the world to discover what the weather and time is there.

And because kids like to have fun, they can also interact with elements, with this app, just to see what happens:
-listen to the hilarious mouse radio with original songs and comedy presented in mouse language
-eat the lunches, or interact with the elements on the table
-open or close the window
-light and put out the fire

The app has been designed to surprise kids, which is why elements change depending on various factors:
-outfits of the mouse changes depending on the weather and time
-lunches change and/or appear depending on the time of the day, and when lunch is over, other interactive elements appear
-wallpaper changes randomly

Weather and Clock for Kids will help your children get familiar with reading time thanks to the 2 clocks present in this game, one analog and one digital. When kids click on any of these clocks, the mouse tells them the time. Kids will also learn the days of the week, thanks to the wall frame with the current day, and the weather forecast for the following days.

All information is delivered in real time and is geo-located. For this reason, Weather and Clock for Kids needs both the internet connection and Location Services (via wireless networks) of the device working properly.

This is such a great learning tool. My son has been having a tough time with some basic concepts, but I find that he is a bright kid and can learn quite well when presented with the right visual tools. That's why I love this app. He can learn time, weather, dates while having fun. I'll take this over Angry Birds any day! Parents, this one is definitely for you!

A really well implemented app. Nearly every element on the screen is interactive - the window frame can change position, a goldfish appears in the bowl or the fireplace lights up. Plenty of action for the kids - while teaching them about time zones and weather at the same time. I'd recommend this for anyone wanting to let their child loose on an Android device, without worrying about them breaking
