blinQ turns your Android device into a universal remote. With blinQ, you can control your TV, set-top box, DVD players and audio systems. A detailed TV program guide for any zip code is also available through the app.

blinQ is the Best of Show Winner, MacWorld 2012

To transform your device into a universal remote, you will need our cool, orb-shaped Infrared(IR) emitter, known as the “Q”, which plugs into the audio jack. The Q device was tested with a broad set of Android devices.

If you don't have the Q yet, purchase the Q for just $9.99 during the set-up process once you download the app. The device will be shipped free of charge to your home. The Q comes in in Black or white.

With blinQ you can
√ Control any TV, set-top box, DVD or receiver/amplifier
√ Full program guide for all service providers in any zip code
√ Live information on the most popular shows on TV and which programs your Facebook friends are watching
√ Watch promo videos of TV shows or access their mobile sites without leaving the app
√ Facebook, tweet and blog about your favorite TV shows instantly while you are watching them
√ Gets you to the program you want in one single click
√ Set reminders for your favorite shows

blinQ supports Android devices running versio 2.2 or higher. The App best fits screen sizes in the 4-5" range with screen resolutions of 480x800 or higher.

* Please note: We don't support OTA (over the air) program guide.

It was easy to setup. I've had it force close a couple times, but it's certainly usable
